Rail Transport from Europe
Containers transported by rail from Europe are being gathered at Brest station in Belarus to form train convoys. However, due to the sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia, cargo flow to Mongolia has decreased, leading to delays. Currently, cargo is waiting at Brest station for at least 20 days. This situation is expected to persist through December, so please assess risks and plan your cargo deliveries accordingly.

From third country through Tianjin port

As of now, Xingang Port is holding approximately 7,600 TEU (about 3,800 containers), with an additional 150 containers waiting for truck transportation. Between November 1 and November 30, 44 train convoys have been dispatched.

Erlian – Zamiin Ude auto border

Approximately 800 trucks are crossing the Erlian border daily without significant queues. Vehicle availability remains stable.

The situation of the Polish-Belarus auto border

• Poland-Belarus border: 2–4 days of queuing.
• Latvia-Belarus border: 5–7 days of queuing, with customs requiring additional documents and performing extended inspections for each vehicle.
• Lithuania-Belarus border: 4–5 days of queuing.

Freight Transport Overview (2024)
Between January 1 and November 28, a total of 30.1 million tons of freight has been transported, up 947,100 tons compared to the same period last year. Loadings have reached 21.8 million tons, an increase of 533,300 tons. In the past week alone, 252,800 tons of export cargo and 64,900 tons of import cargo were transported, marking year-on-year growth. Transit transport has seen 2,877 trains this year, exceeding last year’s count by 123 trains.
